Details of this event copied from an email from The Convict Train on aus-nsw-hills-hawkesbury-hunter-valley-bounces@rootsweb.com mailing list.
"Sunday 5th June in Wisemans Ferry Park at Wisemans Ferry the NPWS is holding a free celebration of the world heritage listing of the great convict works the Devines Hill section of the Great North Road.
This is a wonderful chance for those who cannot walk up Devines Hill to see it, on Sunday the NPWS have free mini buses running up the hill and back.

Starting at 10.30 in Wisemans Ferry Park on the Sydney side of the River the bus will run every 45 mins. For the fit and semi fit it is a 1 to 2 hour leisurely walk up and back.

The 73 regiment re-enactment group will be performing from 10am to 3pm.

There will be activities for children. The Rural Fire Brigade will have its fire engine on display as well as cooking and selling sausage sandwiches.

Also in the park coffee and other food will be available from the local kiosk. Other food is available off site or there is plenty of space to picnic.  For the early birds the Convict Trail will be giving away fresh baked samples of Convict Bread.

Here's hoping it is not rained out again. Carry your own water when walking."
